12 listopada: początek WWW

🥳 Happy Anniversary to the World Wide Web! 🌐 On this day, November 12, 1990, Tim Berners-Lee (pictured) published his proposal for the World Wide Web (WWW).
It’s often confused with the Internet, but they are different!
- The Internet already existed (since the 60s with ARPANET) as the core network infrastructure (the roads and engine).
- The WWW was the application built on top of it. Berners-Lee invented the tools (HTML, HTTP, and the first browser) that made the Internet easy to navigate using hyperlinks.
He gave the complex, command-line Internet a friendly, public face, making it the tool we use every day! Thank you, Tim Berners-Lee!
